Psychological & Emotional Pattern Work

I’ve spent over nine years sitting with people in their most honest, unguarded moments. Not the version they present to the world — the one underneath. The one that’s tired of managing, tired of performing, tired of not quite understanding why the same pain keeps returning.

That’s the work I do. And it’s the only kind I know how to do with integrity.

My Background

I hold a BSc in Psychology from the United States and an MSc in Psychoanalytic Therapy from the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin — one of the leading institutions in psychoanalytic training in Europe. My academic foundation is deep, but what has shaped me most is the clinical work itself: the years of sitting with real people, real patterns, and real pain.
Before building a private consulting practice, I worked across multiple countries and contexts — with individuals, couples, and families navigating everything from chronic anxiety and depression to childhood trauma, identity questions, and relationship dynamics that felt impossible to change.

Why This Work Is Different

Most people who find their way to my work have already tried other things. An anxiety counselor. Therapy for depression. Stress management courses. Self-help. And those things helped — to a point. But something essential remained untouched.

What I offer is different not because of a technique, but because of the level at which the work happens. I’m not interested in helping you cope better with patterns that are making you miserable. I’m interested in understanding where those patterns came from, what they’re protecting, and what it would mean to actually live without them.

My Approach

I don’t believe your emotional struggles happened by chance. Anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feelings of emptiness often have deeper roots.
Many of the patterns shaping your life once helped you adapt, feel safe, or survive. But what once protected you may now keep you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unable to live as your authentic self.
Together, we explore the unconscious patterns and emotional experiences beneath your symptoms. As they become understood, they begin to lose their power, creating space for lasting transformation.

Together, we explore the unconscious patterns and emotional experiences beneath your symptoms. As they become understood, they begin to lose their power, creating space for lasting transformation. This work is not simply about reducing symptoms. It’s about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that were hidden, silenced, or left behind, so you can begin living from who you truly are—not from old emotional patterns.

The goal isn’t to become someone new. It’s to become more fully yourself.

My Cross-Cultural Perspective

I was born in Turkey, raised in Germany, and have spent significant years living and working in the United States. I hold three cultures inside me — and three languages. That’s not incidental to my work. It’s central to it.

Identity, belonging, the pressure to assimilate, the grief of being between worlds, the particular weight of carrying a family’s expectations across borders — these are things I understand not just clinically, but personally. Many of my clients carry versions of these experiences, and they don’t have to explain them from scratch. I already know what it costs to live between places.

What I Believe

I believe that most of what people experience as personal failure is actually adaptation. You learned to survive your early environment. You developed the patterns, the defences, the ways of being that kept you safe. They made sense then. The question this work asks is: do they still serve you now?
You are not broken. You adapted. And now — with enough understanding, enough honesty, and enough support — you can choose differently.
